The midweek review.....

......does not make for pretty reading, but given the prices we are sometimes playing at clearly poor runs are inevitable. We started with 9 bets. one was a 'draw no bet' which finished as a draw so we can discard that one. Of the remaining 8 only 1 won, leaving us with a midweek loss of £54 and the following overall position.

Starting bank £400
Current bank £393
Total staked £272
Overall loss £7
Return on investment  Minus 2.6%

The weekend bets will be up shortly and there are some more big priced ones included, so it's quite possible the results could be similar. Please bear this in mind and dont overstake.

Up to date results

So, trying to keep on top of the results, we had 10 bets at the weekend.  Two of these were 'draw no bets' which finished as draws so the best thing to do is to discount these, which leaves us with 8 bets at £9 each. We had 3 winners which just wasn't quite enough to turn a profit on the weekend, leaving us as it did with a £4 loss.

Up to date figures ( All  from the new bank which started on 31st March)
Starting bank £400
Current bank £447
Growth In Bank 11.75%
Total staked £200
Profit £47
Return On Investment  23.5%
11 winners from 24 bets

Midweek bets

Hi and hope everyone had a nice Easter.

I've looked at the fixtures but none of the matches which qualify for bets are being played today, so I'll be back tonightwith the bets if possible; if not it will be tomorrow morning.

Late bet for Liverpool match this afternoon

The match between Liverpool and Aston Villa this afternoon qualifies as a bet in the BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE market; best price is in the region of 2.03 after commission.

That makes 10 bets altogether at £9 each. Apologies for missing this one off originally  and good luck if following.

Bets For Friday - Sunday

HOMES (Draw No Bet) A C Ajaccio 2.15, Cagliari 3.0, Lecce 3.14

AWAYS (Draw No Bet) Newcastle 2.2

OVER 2.5 GOALS B M Gladbach 1.99

And that's it. Just 9 bets passing all the filters this weekend and at the current stake of £9 each that's £81 altogether. I'll be back on Sunday night if time permits or Monday morning if it doesn't as there's a fresh round of  Premier league matches starting on Monday.

Up to date results

As promised in a reply to a recent comment I am going to try to update my results after each round  - and it's always easier to do that when you've just had some good results, so here goes.

Firstly,  anyone who's waded through my post of 29th March will know that I'm dropping draws and under 2.5 goals from my portfolio and specialising in future in the Outright Results, Over 2.5 goals and Both Teams To Score markets only, and that I'm also taking the opportunity to start with a fresh bank of  £400 and a new staking system. Please read or re-read that post if you need refreshing on any details. The fresh bank isn't an attempt to hide losses, because we didn't make any. As you will see from the 29th March post, the old system showed an overall profit of £168.50; it's just that the draws and under 2.5 bets simply weren't contributing  and were in fact dragging some otherwise very decent profits down to some very ordinary levels.

Anyway, that's the last time we'll mention the old bank and the old profits. Look at the last post and you'll find we started the last weekend in March with a fresh £400 bank and had 16 bets at £8 each, totalling £128. Of these 16 bets, 8 won - returning a total of £219 which equates to a profit of £51.Thas means that the bank now totals £451 and if we divide this by 50 we get £9 which becomes the new stake.

I'll be posting the bets for Friday - Sunday on Friday morning.
